The Dodge RAM SRT-10 symbolized its brand’s standard power within the series of Dodge. This truck uses a V10 engine that produces a ferocious output of 500 horsepower. It has high hauling effect, but it cannot be used for off-roading purposes, which is absurd for this type of pickup.
Performance
Coming to performance, the engine generates 525 pound-feet of torque and 500 horsepower, which propels the Dodge RAM SRT 10 to a speed of 60 mph in just 5.4 seconds.
It can cover the quarter mile in only 13.8 seconds, and the handling is also pretty good; but it had poor Flintstone ride. Talking about its fuel economy, it is really not acceptable by any means and renders just about 9 mpg.
Standard and Optional Features
Initially, the Dodge Ram SRT-10 was produced in short-bed and regular-cab body styles. In every year, plenty of new additions were included both in terms of interior and exterior.
Its standard features are:
• six-speed manual transmission along with Hurst shifter,
• 22-inch alloy wheels,
• Alcantara/ leather upholstered seats,
• pedal spoiler bed, improved stereo,
• performance body kit
The navigation system and rear-seat DVD entertainment are optional goodies, available at additional price.
