The current generation Dodge Ram 1500 comes with freshened styling, convenience features, more power and new comfort. It is a large pickup truck offered in both two door and four versions. Two-door version is offered as regular cab, while the four door model is offered as crew and Quad cab styles. The regular cab has the seating capacity to accommodate up to 3-passengers, while the other model has 6-passenger capacity.
The Dodge Ram 1500 regular cab is offered in three trim versions, the base model ST, mid-level SLT and Laramie versions. All the models are offered in either four wheel drive or in rear wheel drive.
Engine Options
Three engine choices are offered by Dodge Ram 1500, a 3.7 liter V6 model that delivers 215 hp of power, 4.7 liter V8 engine that produces 310 hp and a 5.7 liter Hemi V8 version that delivers 390 hp. The V8 engine has the capability to run on E85 ethanol blended fuel. The V6 engine is mated to 4-speed automatic transmission, while the V8 engines are paired to 5-speed automatic transmission.
